Beginners • Re: pi5 using 480i

I had a few friends write me a custom edit to try and make this work, but no matter what we try the Pi4 forces 576i on my PVM CRT and nothing else will really work unless it's 240p. Getting it to force 480i in the correct 4:3 aspect ratio seems impossible. Any thoughts?

You've just said Pi4, when the previous posts were for Pi5. Typo?

There was an issue fixed recently where we weren't generating correct HDMI interlaced modes on Pi5

That fix will be in the rpi-update kernel, but not in apt yet. (Normal warnings over not using rpi-update on critical systems).
