The same thing happened to me, but I accidentally removed it when a tool slipped out of my hand while removing the heat sink.
When I connect mine to the 5V power supply, only the red LED lights up, but it doesn’t boot.

I wrote a blog post about it at this link:

Check out the picture of mine below:

It's a bummer they don't have the schematics out and this pi was important to me. Hopefully we will know what these are soon. Thx for your reply BTW your the first help I get so far
Hello, my friend,

I had promised to help you if I received a response to my post, and recently the user "RGJ-PI" (who is a Raspberry Engineer) replied with some details that will solve both my problems and yours.

You can find his response at my original post.

The components are:

PMZB600UNELYL N-Channel 20 V 600mA (Ta) 360mW (Ta) Surface Mount DFN1006B-3
Datasheet and buy at Digikey.co.uk

The second component is a 18k 1% 0201 resistor (the smaller and more challenging resistor to solder manually, haha).

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the MOSFET in stores in my country (Brazil), so I will look for an alternative that works with the specifications from the component's datasheet.
But the most important part is already done—I got the information and identification of the components.
