OMV7 will be needed for the latest OS (and the only. OS for the Pi5 'bookworm'.

If you're having OMV problems, I suggest their forums for help.

If it is a simple apt update / upgrade that is having problems, then the error codes help.

Does a web browser work.
Does a
ping 8.8.8.8
Work at a terminal.
Etc...
