Fingers crossed for 512MB which would be enough to support 640x480 (VGA) and 800x480 (WVGA) at 8-bit colour and open the door to it being a modern day equivalent of a Home Computer.Maybe there will be a follow on to the RP2040 with a better A/D converter and 1.5 MB RAM. That would be enough to emulate the original IBM PC and hardware of a similar vintage.
Better ADC would be nice but even to spec it's only 9-bit and that's not a lot of gain over what we have. I don't recall the original IBM's had ADC except by way of expansion cards and particularly a Soundcard+Joystick interface.
