A USB-C socket breakout board and a couple of DuPont jumpers will probably do the job. Plus a couple of resistors to coerce the PSU into providing 3A. More expensive but probably not that expensive, and easiest and most likely to succeed solution IMO.
4) Jumper VUSB from one of the USB sockets to +5V and back-power via USB. You would need to find or make a USB-A-to-USB-A cable and find a suitable PSU.
