General discussion • Upgrading to PI 5.

I have a Raspberry PI 3 in a box with a power supply, monitor, keyboard and mouse attached, in my attic.

This is probably a really stupid question for those who have kept up to date with developments but ........ Can I just upgrade by just replacing the PI 3 board and memory card with a PI 5 board and bigger memory card or are the boards different sizes and or have different peripheral socket layouts?
